These olive oils are the result of an expert selection process involving all the varieties of olives grown in the area, harvested in the early days of November when the olives are in the changing-colour stage (turning from green to purple).

This Designation of Origin protects the olive oils produced within the boundaries of 13 towns in the vicinity of Estepa (Sevilla) and Puente Genil (Córdoba) spanning a region with a millenary tradition of olive growing. The soil and weather conditions are what lend these olive oils their unique, world-renowned flavour and aroma.
The entire production of these olive oils relies upon integrated and organically-grown methods, both of which are fully sustainable. As a cold-pressed oil, it retains all of its organoleptic properties intact, as well as a notably high content in vitamin E.
