PDO Granada Mollar de Elche
Protected Designation of Origin
PDO
This is a pomegranate like no other. It stands apart for being particularly sweet and having a soft, almost imperceptible, seed which makes it easy to eat. The skin colour really depends on nature’s whim, ranging from cream to bright red.

REASONS TO ENJOY
The PDO of the Mollar de Elche pomegranate covers over 40 towns and villages in Alicante’s Baix Vinalopó, L’Alacantí and Vega Baja. These are the major producers of pomegranate in Spain and for the rest of Europe, where it is known as the Land of Pomegranates.
This is a place seemingly made just for the Mollar de Elche pomegranate. The benign climate and fertile soil on the shores of the Mediterranean lend themselves to one of the best and most highly-regarded pomegranates in the world.
