This is a condiment with a personality all its own. Its bright red colour, smoky sweet flavour and penetrating aroma are its signs of identity.
REASONS TO ENJOY
The peppers are grown on plots of land in the region of Murcia. Their quality is the result of hard-earned experience the vegetable growers have accumulated over the centuries, since paprika has been made ever since the red pepper was introduced to Spain from America.
The peppers are hand-picked, one by one, and then placed under the sun to dry or air-dried in temperature-controlled warehouses. After drying, the peppers are ground into a fine powder, following traditional 19th century methods.
